The shelf life of our products can be found in the product descriptions in our online shop. The average shelf life of a Demel's Sachertorte is approx. 7 days.
The best termperature would be +14°C. Of course you can also store it in the fridge on warmer days. In order to enjoy the cake accordingly, however, we recommend to take the cake out of the fridge and let it rest at room temperature for a little while.
Generally, shipping within Austria takes 1-2 days
Generally shipping internationally takes between 1-4 days, however this can vary due to customs.

Delivery is not possible on holidays, as well as Saturdays or Sundays. When ordering, you have the option to determine a specific delivery date of choice. Our team, as well as our logistics partners will try their best to accommodate your requested date, can, however, not assume full guarantee.

If you are not at home to receive your package, the courrier will leave a message. For an office adress the courrier will automaticly attempt to deliver two more times. For deliveries to private addresses, please contact the courrier to arrange another delivery attempt.
As soon as we have put in your data into the DHL system, you will receive an automatic notification including a tracking number for your package from our logistics partner. If you don't recieve the notification, please check your spam folder.

We will also receive the information from our logistics partners, should your package be held at customs. We will do our best to solve this issue. As soon as we are aware of the reason, we will contact you for further proceedings.

No, there is no minimum order.
Please contact us as soon as you have open the package and discovered the damage via versand@demel.com. In order to receive a refund, PLEASE attach a picture of the shipped package and the damaged product.
Yes, you can. In order to do so, please view your bag and select "Add greeting card to your order for €2,50" and add your desired personal message and any comments that need to be communicated to the Demel team.
Of course! The label attached to the package will include both names, of recipient as well as the sender. The sender's name will be visible below the recipient's address.
Generally, our packages never include an invoice. You will receive a listing of all items ordered electronically shortly after your order has been processed. Invoices are solely sent upon request electronically or via mail (please explicitly let us know if you need an invoice!).
Currently, you can find us at Kohlmarkt 14, 1010 Vienna as well as twice at Vienna airport: at Check-in 1 directly at the C-Gates (Schengen area) and at Check-in 3 near the G-Gates (in the non-Schengen departure area).
